Not Me Monday

I didn't let my husband get up early with the boys on Sunday Morning (because Saturday he got to sleep in) but instead of sleeping I cracked my laptop and enjoyed a few minutes of online bliss.  Nope, not me!

I didn't make fun of my husband as he waltzed around with the laundry basket delivering loads of laundry he took the time to do this weekend.  Nope, I wouldn't do that...I would of course let my appreciation flow abundantly.  And I WOULD NOT get annoyed when he dried my cardigan and it is now a size or two tooooo small.  Nope, not me!

I didn't burn five grilled cheese sandwiches to a crisp because I was too busy taking pictures of my two year old trying out his potty.  Nope, not me.

I don't lean way over the counter to hide behind the wall, or into the fridge, or in a cupboard... and sneak a cookie, or my kids snacks....because they DO NOT need another snack...and I SOOOO do.  Nope, not me!

I didn't call and sign up Henry and I for a mom and me class 45 minutes before it started because I couldn't bear to stay home with him and watch him be so sad that Charley was at school.  Nope, not me.   And I wasn't sooo thrilled that he even handled the short separation part of the class.  What a big boy!  We'll see how next week goes but there won't be anymore binge eating Friday mornings for my Hankers!

I have not had a diet coke in over four weeks!  My cravings aren't so bad sometimes that I want to cry.  But I am strong and I haven't had any.  Nope not me!  No really, I HAVE NOT HAD ANY DIET COKE!  I am so proud of myself.  I. LOVE. WATER!  I. LOVE. WATER!  I have to keep convincing myself!

4 weeks! Wow! That's crazy! Love the potty picture. Oh, and I totally hide next to the fridge to sneak food. :)

Love Henry on the potty picture! That photo was worth burning your grilled cheese. I am so guilty of hiding in the cupboard shoving down a cookie so my kids don't see. :)

That picture is priceless! Sarah, I was a closet cookie eater too, but we had a glass cookie jar with a glass cover, very hard to successfully sneak a cookie.
