If you have boys, then you know the words "choo choo" come early in their speaking lives. Today we went to a local favorite hang out where my boys are in heaven. Friends who have boys the same age joined us.
Story time kicked off the fun. Engineer Paul is wonderful. I love that he is a man who sings, plays guitar, jumps like a frog, and reads enthusiastically. There aren't a ton of men who find themselves playing these roles in children's lives and I truly believe, especially for little boys, you can never have too many male role models - especially those that sing, read, and play guitar.
(Did I mention that already?)
After story time we headed back to tinker with the six busy train tables. Today the number of children between the ages of 1 and 5 was astounding. Throw them all in a small space with six train tables and you would think a "give me" epidemic would take over.
Amazingly there wasn't a single "mine!" shouted.
And all of us mommies sighed and had a moment-
praying it wasn't our child that ended the choo choo peace.
I love when my boys have a morning of "All Boy" time.

Looks like a great time! And since I just recently found your blog, I wanted to tell you how much I LOVE the quote at the top. Makes me work harder at trying to be in the moment and cherish each passing day.
Love those boys, what great experiences they have!
