friends come into your life in all different ways.

friends come into your life at different stages.

friends come into your life and then bring little ones into the world and gift you with another little being to love.  

We haven't had enough playdates with this little bird.  

But today, with vertigo playing tricks with my head...

and a coooold house, since our heat went out.  

We got to have a playdate with Miss Mila and her mama. 

And sometimes during a play date I pretend I am a photographer and spend five minutes doing a photo shoot   

And chatting with a friend makes for a morning that was just right for a day that started out so crazy. 

This is how she kisses her mama too.  

See, it proves that us mamas have to sometimes hold back the urge of eating our young...but our little ones have that instinct too :)

And her mama has figured out how to make this girl smile and laugh. 

Belly tickles, silly noises, and blowing raspberries on her belly brought about this happy face.

This pair will be trouble in another year.  I can feel it.  

But for now, Syd finds her extremely hilarious.

And Miss Mila finds us extremely exhausting. 

Katie, Thanks so much for coming and hanging out this morning. 

This mama was freaking out just a wee bit this morning. 

You brought me calm.
