When Sydney was born, even the neutral sleepers that we already had washed and folded in her baby- powder scented dresser drawers, the green and yellow and white ones, seemed too boyish.
Probably because we had snuggled two teeny boys in them.
This past weekend we were heading to northern Wisconsin and the temps were supposed to be cold enough to bring possible snow flakes.
So this mama dug out the winter gear I could find.
And that included shoes that Syd could wear with socks.
We didn't really have any in her size yet.
So I found a pair of the boys little Converse high tops and decided they would do for the weekend.
The thing of it is.
They completely fit her personality.
And I am in love with My Syd Girl in these shoes.
Who knew she didn't need pink ones or ones that were embellished with sparkly things.
These classic black little stompers are going to look simply awesome with jeans, leggings, and even dresses.
We'll still go shoe shopping...because how can you not take a little girl shoe shopping.
But there's no rush. Because she is already sporting the shoes that fit her personality too perfectly.
And to use a pair of shoes with all three kids is pretty darn cool!
