Music that keeps me moving...

When I spend time on the treadmill or out walking/jogging outside...music is what keeps me moving forward.  And when I am on the treadmill at the gym, I look around at all these different people all working out, in their own world, listening to something.  I am always SO curious what they are listening to.  Maybe they are tuned in to whatever channel allows them to hear what is on the TV in front of them.  Or maybe they are jamming out to some Journey or Guns and Roses.  Or maybe they are listening to Fifty Shades of Gray, hahaha.

Here is my current play list for working out.  I laugh at many of these current songs, but they keep me moving forward.  I can now run two miles without stopping pretty easily (on the treadmill)...I think I could go longer but mentally I just get tired of that same pace.  But for a gal who was always the last one picked on any kickball or relay team in gym class...I am kinda of proud to be able to be able to run the two miles.   My play list is obviously longer than I run/walk...but I will skip songs that bore me that day.

I love this song "Feel so Close" by Calvin Harris, I have been listening to it for a few months now, I used to play it over and over again.

Love the Some nights song, Ho Hey too.

What about Freedom - by Tyrone wells. Lights by Ellie Goulding.

Love the list, will have to listen to them and see if I recognize any more, I am awful at knowing the songs names.

Oh, boy. I only knew 2 songs on your list! I'm so out of touch with popular music. The 2 that I know I absolutely love though and they're on my running playlist too. The 2 songs that are guaranteed to put a smile on my face and make me quicken my pace are Sexual Revolution by Macy Gray and Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder. I tend to listen to a lot of albums when I'm running and just select a band as I'm heading out the door. Or, I listen to podcasts for my longer workouts.
