Kid Activity: rainbows

Charley came home home day having done a rainbow activity at school.

I had planned a spring craft with the boys and Charley recognized the materials and instead of me showing him my craft project, he showed us his.

Take a coffee filter and cut it in half.

Use markers to draw a rainbow on the coffee filter.

Then we used eye droppers to drop water on the rainbows to spread the colors. 

You could also take them outside and spray them with a water gun or water spray bottle. 

Either way...

They turn out pretty cute.

A perfect activity for spring.

It also allows the kids to play with color blending.
