Things I Love Thursday: Picky Eaters!

Wintertime in Minnesota can get long and even though I HATE the word I will use it -boring-...things can get boring.  Last week I shared the 'muffin tin' lunch.  Today I am loving TOOTHPICKS!  TOOTHPICKS can bring some fun to lunch.  They can put a different spin on an otherwise PICKY eater.

Cut up your kiddos food into small sized pieces and serve them lunch with toothpicks instead of spoons and forks!  Smiles will be big!  Food will get devoured...and giving your kids a thrill during lunch will give you a feeling of pride that just might get you through the rest of the loooooooong dreary Thursday.

You can also serve their dinner time veggies on a toothpick like a kabob!  A toothpick with a row of peas on it might get those darn peas eaten....it just might!

Thanks Sarah for the great idea!

So true! We haven't done this in a while, but my kiddos love to eat just about anything with toothpicks!

What a cute idea! But I'm sure w/ my luck my boys would turn them into swords or weapons to use on each other! Ha!
