An Interview with Hank

Henry's talking is non-stop these days. Last night at dinner we asked Charley how school was today and Henry babbled on for a minute and then we all said, "Henry, you didn't go to school today." And he chuckled. Most things he says are one word and then he repeats it several times for emphasis. I am loving it. We were reading a Christmas book last night and when Santa appeared he said, "HO! HO!" It amazes me ...I feel like we sat and tried to get Charley to say that stuff and with Henry it just explodes out without us realizing he knows it. Must be a second child thing. Charley didn't talk much before he turned 2 but when he did start talking he was very verbal - clear sentences it seemed right away. Henry is definitely starting earlier...So this morning we interviewed him while he ate breakfast...we also discovered he likes dipping his toast and jam in his milk.

I love it. I tried to capture him running around this weekend saying "shower", etc. But it didn't quite work out. Definitely made me smile.
