Your Thermostat

Okay, my main purpose is to document for my boys...but just curious....If you read this...what is your thermostat set for during the day and at night?

I want to help our family cut our heating bill down but I want to know how cold is too cold. haha!

Looking forward to hearing from you all!

And if posting a comment is too public or too hard...email me...sweetsarahsummer@yahoo.com

This is a serious question! I want input!

Good question! I keep my house at 68/69 most of the time. I have been too lazy to program the thermostat at night, I wonder what the difference in the bill would be if I turn it down to 65 at night? Maybe I will try.

66 when we are home; 62 when we are sleeping; 60 when we are gone.

Ours is programmed at 68 when we're home, at 65 sleeping, and if we leave for the weekend we manually override it and turn it down to 58.

ours is not programmable---i sure wish it was. but i don't want bailee to freeze either during the day. ours is set at about 65. we try not to go above that, but right now i'm wearing 2 long sleeved shirts, my robe, pajama pants, socks and slippers. it's not fun to cook in an outfit like that! 68 would be great. our upstairs bedroom doesn't get any heat-so it's always even more cold!

Ok, we are the odd ones. Since, it is supposed to be like 95 the next few days here, the big question is how low do we set our thermostat. We try to keep the air at 78. It does get cool here but to be honest, I don't remember, it's been too long. I will let you know in a few months!

We keep ours warm but I don't know if that is the true temperature of our house since it's old and not very heat efficient. We keep it at 70 during the day 66 at night.
