Happy New Year!

This year for New Years we celebrated with two of Ed's life long friends...who I now feel have been life long friends, because they have been in my life for more than half of it.  And I have heard so many stories that I can tell some like I was there.

This year was different.  Our kiddos were a lot more self sufficient.  And even the littler ones were so happy because of all the happy going on.  Syd hung in til 9 when I put her bed.  She could have gone later, I am sure.  And Miss Mila was a trooper and hopped up and down at 11 when we rang in the new year all together with New York City.

This guy up above has these two lovely ladies giving him smooches and history was made, when he made it til midnight.  I think the key was, he was making his own drinks instead of my over zealous husband who gets so excited when his buddies come around and pours his excitement into their glass!  But he made it til midnight instead of catching some shut eye too early.

The kids had a blast playing and watching a movie and playing.

And Ms. Katie brought some party hats and horns so we could snap some fun New Years pictures!  I still have the hats and will return them to you next time I see you Katie!

 Happy New Year to you!
Any fun goals or plans or words of focus?
Do share!  I haven't thought enough about it and need to.  I love this time of year for the fresh start feel!  So need to get going on that!
