music on my mind

Time for a little music update.  I spent a few minutes adding some songs to my workout play list, hoping to give some new motivation to my morning workout.  Music is what I run to.  I don't think watching a show would get me very far.  I like the rhythm of a good song and I love lyrics that motivate me in life.

This song is my VERY favorite right now.  Love the message.

Gone, Gone, Gone by Phillip Phillips
Say Anything by Tristan Prettyman
I Lived by One Republic
Sing Loud by Alpha Rev
Stubborn Love by The Lumineers
Lover of the Light by Mumford and Suns
It's Time by Imagine Dragons
Red Hands by Walk Off the Earth
Try by Pink
Hero by Family of the Year
On Top of the World by Imagine Dragons

This is the other that I love so much.

What music are you loving lately?
What music makes you sing out loud in the car?  Dance in your kitchen?  Or stomp the pavement or treadmill :)?

I really dig the 2nd video you shared. Definitely my style. Will be checking more of her stuff out!

Lately we are into The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons and Cake.

I listen to a bit of music during runs but I find I need a podcast to keep me distracted, especially on longer runs.

Thanks Sarah! I need to go and pick up this album. We saw 'One Republic' in concert a few years back and they blew me away. I'm going try out a few from your workout list...as my list is getting a little mundane. I love love love the song "say anything" as well.

Colbie Caillat "Break Even/Fast Car", Goo Goo Dolls "Rebel Beat", Serena Ryder "Stompa".
Eek! Am drawing a blank....
