I Love the Whole World...

We all have been humming this tune for the last 24 hours.
It is catchy.
It is things like this that make me emotional.
The world is such an amazing place and it is so easy to forget that.
It is so easy to get caught up on the grind of the everyday.  When in reality we should look past the packing up the beach bag and slathering too much sun tan lotion on our squirmy little ones to realize that sitting back and watching them play for HOURS on Grandma's beach is WAY worth it.

So today...

I love that my husband encourages me to trek across the state to see his family and mine.
I love that my kids travel well.  Syd has come a long way the last few road trips.
I love that it is always worth it - the disruption to our sleep routines, the packing and unpacking, the crazy moments mid road trip that make me draw from the incredible depths that we mamas have where our patience bubbles....and amazingly erupts just when we need it the most.

I love that we have had such a good summer that I am not too thrilled that school starts on Tuesday.
I love that we are spending our last few days of summer having fun with our special little cousins.
And I love that I am a person that realizes these moments.

What do you love today?

I love that we made it to the beach one last time yesterday. I love that today will be a lower key day. I love that there is a 3 day weekend ahead of us.
And I love those discovery commercials, I have seen variations to it on discovery channel and they are fun.
Enjoy your weekend:)

I love that I was included in your travel plans. I love seeing Charley growing up and being so aware of what is going on and being said, AND, that he helped me put my Fantasy Football team together and saw things I didn't during the adrenalin rush of it all. I loved seeing Miss Syd trance around our house in all corners and nooks and up and down and under and on top and her silly smile. Plus I got to put her to bed one night and she went right to sleep, ahhhh a Grandmother's dream. I loved hearing Henry finish sentences, seeing him love the food I served, having the most fun smile and giggles when he jumped off the swing, and seeing his smirk when he showed me that he brought along the "Press Here" book that I had given him at the cottage. Hope mom reads it with him one of these days. But most of all, I lov4ed after Charley "won the gold" for jumping off the swing, and I told Henry he "won the bronze" but he said "no Grandma, I won the silver". 2012 Olympics will be a memory for these boys as they wait 4 more years for it to happen again. So yes, I love lots this weekend. Also loved that Aunt Pat shared our fun day at the beach and Skip's and Raina came with her boys who were so so good and happy that day.
