This morning...
I am surprised that Miss Syd was quiet until 9am! She needed it!
I am in awe of the fact that come the end of the week I can say I have been married to my husband for 10 years.
I am wondering if our marriage can withstand the challenges of possibly packing a car top carrier. HAHA! A van and a car top carrier...we are ultimate parents, right? But last year we drove two vans on vacation...which might be worse, right?
I am okay with not having a bikini bod this summer (haha) and I kinda like my swimsuit cover up.
I am drinking my second cup of coffee with some vanilla creamer added in.
I am thrilled that it is a tad cloudy and might rain today.
I am wanting to be done packing for vacation, and just be there.
I am also skeptical that we will be able to fit everyone and everything into one van this year for our week at the cottage.
I am really wanting to hit the zoo to see the new dino exhibit...but I can't go when it is so hot. I just can't do it.
I am proud to say I didn't spend any money yesterday.
I am worried about the drop off of the two boys this fall on M, W, and Friday mornings. It is going to take some strategic timing and the help of good friends and neighbors...possibly.
I am confident in saying that buttermilk pancakes are WAY better than regular pancakes.
I am pondering what to make for dinner tonight.
I am hoping to stay motivated for an evening workout since Ed had to be to work really early.
I am craving Mexican food.
I saw or talked to some friends I hadn't seen in a while and it felt good.
I am hating the thought of packing our clothes....we need things up until we leave and it is hard to organize it so we don't overpack.
I am realizing that this is coming up REALLY fast. I have such mixed emotions.
I am looking forward to being out of our normal routine and environment and then returning. It always fills me with so much grace and gratitude.
I am ready for the day, which feels like it is just starting, but it is already 9:40. Crazy.
I am smelling a dirty diaper...best be off.

I am trying to get ready for our vacation...packing clothes, doing laundry, cleaning the house (am I the only freak that cleans the house before she leaves so she can come home to a clean house?), planning long car ride activities, etc. We are off to the park and to get road trip snacks. Have a good day!

Kevin and I had our 10 year anniversary this year too. It's hard to believe it's been 10 years already, a lot has happened in 10 years!
