Good Afternoon!
Or as Sydney would say these days, "Hi."
Things have settled after our fun weekend.
Everyone is a little run down.
Mama has a head cold.
Henry has an annoying cough.
Sydney is still teething.
Daddy seems to be on the mend.
Charley is just wiped out.
So we haven't done much this week.
We only leave the house to get groceries, take kids to school, and that's it.
We are playing with new toys.
Napping.
And continuing on this month's goal of simplifying spaces ...organizing and purging.
Nothing deep to report.
Just sharing some new pics of our 1 year old.
She can't manage the one step down to our living room space.
But! she can get up and down off her new chair (made by her Grandma Charlie).
We always stay close though, because as you can see it is a wee bit big at the moment for this little girls tushy. It is adorable though.
It's Wednesday and babies are arriving soon or have recently arrived for many that I love.
It is so exciting to live through the anticipation and wonder of who these little ones will be.
Other than that...I am pondering a Baked Potato soup that a friend recommended.
I am pondering a craft or learning activity to challenge Henry with.
I am pondering putting my feet up and just closing my eyes to the sound of Curious George for a minute.
We'll see what happens next in our house.
What's new with you today?

This week has been a really slow one for me. The mornings have become the worst and I can't pull myself out of bed. The house is a mess and I soooo want it to be clean and sparkling right now. The sky is still gray and no sign of sunshine anytime soon. It is a blah kind of day. Hope your cold goes away soon!
Love that first picture, hilarious. Did you go for the closing of the eyes, sometimes that's what's needed when the mama is sick.
Today? What's new you ask? Well, I feel like I did 200% work in a 100% time period. I am blessed to now have 2 days off, to myself, at leisure, just a hair cut in the plans, and little tidbits around the quiet house. Made a new soup recipe last night, corn sausage chowder, similar to what Black Wolf Run serves - if any of you have heard of that place. Glad Syd is enjoying her new piggy bank!
Oh her baby leg-warmers are so great!
I haven't commented for a while, but it blows my mind that she's one already. Where that that year go??? She's adorable!
