CD giveway for you!

Do you remember this song...that went with this ad?

Yael Naim became a sensation with me because of this quirky and catchy song.  I think it was about 2 years ago.  And recently she released a new cd titled She Was a Boy.  I was sent a copy and am in love with it.  Her perky sound is just right to listen to on a rainy Monday morning.  My favorite song on the CD is one titled Come Home:

Another great one is Go to the River:

So....Ladies...share with me a favorite artist or a favorite song that makes you smile these days and something that made your mother's day special.  And you will have a chance to win a copy of the new Yael Naim CD that is available May 10th.  I love mine.  You will love it too!  Promise.

I will announce the winner on Friday evening at 9pm...

I am kind of liking the song E.T. by Katy Perry and what made my mothers day was my 15 month old daughter (Evelyn) walking all over for the first time!!! Jamie Trampe

Thanks!! What a neat offer! I'm currently into the song "Rumor Has It" by Adele. Try it, you can't fight a good mood no matter how you try. The drums alone have my hips moving and making sure no one else is watching as I dance in my car or my kitchen. Mother's Day was made special in many ways, but one of the most memorable moments was when Monica (our youngest) pooped in the potty for the first time! Loved the post prior to this one by the way.

Mother's day moment: My 3 1/2 year old telling a new boy at the park that she loves him-- and his reply: I love you too. Made my heart melt!!

my new favorite song: Timshell by Mumford and sons. It's mellow but that's me. Favorite mother's day moment-riding the train with eli at the zoo. RR

My current favorite song is "Rhythm of Love" by Plain White T's ... sounds a little retro and always gets me smiling!

What is making me smile about Mother's Day is that even the day after, the kids are picking dandelions and running them over to me - "here mom! this is a flower for you for mother's day!"

thanks for the chance to win! and i love your new font!

My favorite tune these days is IF I DIE YOUNG by The Band Perry - probably not a "mother" song, but I love it! My favorite moment on Mother's Day was waking to the sound of "mama! mama! mama! .... Beah! Beah! Beah!" (his way to say "Bailee") ... repeat, repeat, and repeat. But he (Eli) and we all knew papa was going to get him up anyway.

My favorite part of Mothers Day was a bike ride that all 5 of us were able to do together. It was a beautiful day!

I don't do a ton of listening to songs for me right now but I LOVE anything from Glee. :)

Sarah-
I am enjoying a hodgepodge of "oldies" these days--especially including Sun-60's "Somebody" (http://www.pandora.com/music/song/sun+60/somebody) and "Send Me on My Way" by Rusted Root. I also am liking Pink's "Raise Your Glass".

As for my mother's day, it was made by some enjoyable and pleasant time all together as a family at my favorite pizza place, Pizza Luce. Oh, and we ALL splurged on dessert! Yummy!
