Where have I been?

Well,

Actually,

I have been hiding behind my engorged breasts.

My milk came in Monday and by Tuesday I could barely see over my melons.
Wednesday was really painful. I nursed non-stop. And finally, things have mellowed out. I fit into my nursing bras. However, I came down this morning looking like this...

....and had some puzzled little boys looking strangely at me.

Sydney is a nursing pro. She was born 7 pounds 2 ounces. Left the hospital at 6 pounds 8 ounces. And Thursday at her weight check she was already 7 pounds 1 ounce. The doc was impressed since it typically takes 2 weeks to gain back to their birth weight.

Charley was 20 pounds at 9 months.
Henry was 20 pounds at 4 months.
Sydney, are you trying to beat them and go for the big 2-0 at two months? I hope not. I want my last baby to be a baby for a little bit here!

Glad to hear that she's a pro at nursing!!

When my milk came in this time, I think my boobs were confused how many babies I had! It took quite a few days to settle down!

haha. So much to look forward too. I have always been soaked while nursing. And I am thinking of going with reusable nursing pads this time. I went through the disposables like no ones business!

LOL! BTDT! When my oldest was born, I slept with a towel pinned around me.

Great picture. For the first month I had to put a burp cloth under each side while nursing because of flooding. Oh the memories. JG

LOL, Definitely been there! I use to walk around with cloth diapers inside my nursing bra...worked so much better than the pads, which I'd go right through.

Glad to hear it's getting better...she must be nursing like a champ;)

How is nursing with 2 other kids needing you? It was hard when I had the 2nd, wondering about the 3rd....
