35 weeks...but the doctor said we could make the journey to my parents for Christmas.
I wanted one last hug from my mom and one last in person excited conversation with my sister.
And we made it without any issues!
Our Saturday morning kicked off with a party with many of the great, great, relatives in our family.
We have a silly tradition of gifting silly and nice gifts anonymously - creating fun tags that say...
To: Sarah From: Oprah
To: Ed From: Brett Farve
To: Henry From: Luke Skywalker
To: Charley From: Santa...
etc.
The boys are in awe of the heap of presents that get devoured during the annual "BIG RIP!"
Henry was so excited all week to go to Grandmas. He did not understand what excitement awaited him. He enjoyed it all last year, but didn't remember. Charley knew what was ahead of him. Henry was pure joy all weekend. When Grandpa Bob opened a big yellow remote control car, Henry asked, "Can I have that?" And all weekend he kept checking if he got to bring things home. It was so exciting.
Amidst all the craziness of the weekend...there were quiet moments of reading with Grandma, Playing Battleship with Aunt Raina and Uncle Greg, nibbling cookies, and chasing around with their cousin Eli.
More to come...

It was all so special. Nice blog Sarah, from the other room.
What a wonderful tradition. And, who wouldn't be in awe of all those gifts?
Enjoy!
How fun. And you look wonderful, that belly is perfect!! :)
Love the belly picture.
And the picture of Henry...he's starting to look more and more like his big brother.
Absolutely beautiful tree!
I really like the idea of having the gift tags come from silly people/celebrities. I have some gag gifts this year and am going to do this idea with them - thanks for the great idea! It will be fun/funny! Jamie Trampe
