Weeeeeee! We went to the Dells!

We recently did a 24 hour mini-vacation with the boys.  It was our first official vacation with just our family.  We got a nice deal at an indoor water park in Wisconsin Dells.  The 24 hours were jam packed but at the point of pregnancy, the age of the boys, and having tied it in with a visit with Grandma and the Packer game...it was plenty.  We spent lots of time at the water park.  Explored the theme park.  And enjoyed some yummy meals at the restaurants.  We pretty much had the place to ourselves which was SUPER nice with the boys being as young as they are.  It was easy to keep an eye on them.

We moved from one area to the next and just kept rotating around.  The boys were in heaven and Ed and I enjoyed watching their pure and innocent joy at the whole adventure.

Part of our package involved the "Theme Park" and so we took advantage of that.  The boys rode the carousal.  Ed took them each on their first spin on the go-cart track, and we played a round of mini-golf.  The boys played a few racing video games...and so did mom and dad.  Charley hit a button while passing a machine and won 100 tickets by accident so they each got to pick a few prizes from the prize booth.  And Ed and Charley did the ropes course.  I was so proud of Charley for being so brave!
