Keeping the boys busy this week....
My energy is back and I have been itching to scrub toilets, wipe counter tops, vacuum over and over, pick up bedrooms, do laundry (which means wash, dry, fold and put away in one day), etc. I am finally feeling like our house is back to normal. But to get this done these last few weeks of summer I had to get the boys busy with something that didn't involve jumping on furniture. So this week I set up an office for them. I loved playing office when I was little. And they were very excited to be "just like daddy" all week long. My only dilemma is now how long this "office" will have to occupy space in our house.
I also found that giving them egg cartons with a variety of little doo dads along with some glue....well there you can fill a good 45 minutes.
The boys were happy and mama was getting things done. WIN! WIN!

Love figuring out ways to keep the kids busy while getting things done. It is truly the biggest win-win of a mom's life!

Art projects always do the trick in our house too!
