I wish someone could have taken our picture...we literally, stood in the laundry room eating our crab cakes watching the washing machine do it's thing. Bending over occasionally to get a better look.
I AM IN COMPLETE AWE at the quiet, still machine that now resides in our laundry room. Great work husband! I can't wait to do more laundry tomorrow....
But what is with the hour long wash cycle...yikes!

Crab cakes aren't my favorite but I give my better half credit for trying to find something special to welcome me home with.
So, what brand/model washer/dryer did ya get?!
It is a Samsung...it is steam (which we weren't going to go with) but we got a floor model so it was a great deal. They are white. Ed said, if we have another we can do cloth diapers - I said, "We're going to have another!" and he said, "well no!" HA!
I don't know what model...but I am a little sad this morning because there isn't a rockin machine keeping us company - just a very quiet hum. I didn't do a last load in our other machine and take in that last experience. kind of sad about that!
Sounds like fun! I can't believe you actually miss doing a last load in the "monsters."
we did the same thing when we first got our front loader!!! not the crab cakes I guess, but we stood there and watched it for awhile. :) fun times.
That cracked me up. We got our first pair of NEW washer and dryer this year. We'd always bought super duper used ones, and I STILL love to watch the wash load! Sometimes I bring my son in there to watch the laundry for something to do! So sad! ha :-)
So sad that I'm excited for you! I'm convinced there should be a washer/dryer on every level of a home. (I still would never be caught up!) Congrats!
