There are times when I ASK Charley to hold his brothers hand...like when we are running an errand at Target and I am trying to juggle the reusable grocery bags, my purse, a snack, and two little boys who have their own plan on what is going to happen. When Charley won't help his mama out and take Henry's hand or when Henry refuses to take a hand, I can be seen clenching my teeth really tightly.
But today, after a delightful morning at the nature center class I looked behind me and saw this. Well, actually, I looked behind and saw this and being the camera carrying mom that I am...I pretended to stop and look for my keys in my purse and told them to keep walking. Just so I could catch this moment with my camera.
A moment that makes it all worth it...A moment that makes me realize that even after yesterday's not so great day - we must be doing something right; because moments like this that happen naturally are breathtaking.
