Daddy Day

This week Charley ended his summer activities and Ed took the day off to come and watch him play T-ball. After that we took advantage of the summer day and did some fun things with him. First we headed off to the zoo where we explored the new park, the butterfly gardens, and the MN trails. We had a picnic lunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cucumbers, pretzels, and an oreo (yes, Grandma Barb we still have a few left!). Then we returned home where Henry napped, mama got a few things done, but daddy and Charley...they didn't waste a moment. They were off to the driving range to hit a bucket of balls. Then they made a quick stop to Chucky Cheese to play a few games. Returning home for dinner and a little relaxed fun! It was a special day, a full day, and all of us relished it! It is always fun to have daddy with us on our adventures!
