Charley the Artist

Yesterday Charley and I were hanging out drawing on his big pad of paper. I did my best drawing Darth Vader. Then Charley drew his Darth Vader...this is his:



Then I walked away to get Henry, he woke up from his nap. When I returned there was this picture. I thought I knew what it was ...I was astonished. But I asked Charley to "Tell me about this picture" ...still using my teacher language. He said, "That is Java the Hut from Star Wars and I made it dot to dot." I did not know he knew this character. I am amazed. I love to see him growing as an artist.
