Filling our days (one of the first)...

On one of Charley's first days of school we were lucky enough to have Grandma Charlie here.  That morning she baked with Henry...these yummy homemade graham crackers.  They looked simple enough (as I didn't do them this time).  And I won't need to do any soon because we froze a TON before baking them and so now I have a yummy stash to bake at a moments notice.  They will make my house smell delicious and they are a somewhat healthier snack!  The boys both love them too.  We cut them into the shapes of pumpkins, leaves, acorns, and turkeys. 

The rest of the day was spent sitting on the curb looking frantically among the hoards of school age children...in hopes of catching Mr. Charley's eye as he marched by in the annual back to school parade.

And this would be his good friend E.  They didn't get in the same class this year.  But they will still see each other plenty.
