Jumping into our Cottage Week!

My favorite week of the year has now passed. I have pretty much unpacked our bags and our normal routine is beginning to look...well, normal.  But the memories and the sigh that comes along with thinking of our week up north still pauses me during the day.  If I ask the boys, "Where do you wish you could be right now?" They will both answer, "THE COTTAGE!"  I love it.

So in the next few days I will share a few of my favorite moments and pictures.

Along with these pictures should go this song. When it comes on the radio I turn it up and the boys know, "This is mama's summer song."

Here are a few of my favorite water shots from the week of MY boys.

The week was beautiful.  There was not a day when the water was not touched.  Both boys had lots of fun jumping off the dock but Henry would only do it holding my hand so I have no pictures of his "kid" jumps.  So proud of them both for swimming around with little worry.  The "duck poop disease" otherwise known as "swimmer's itch"  nailed a couple people this year (sorry Aunt Raina).  So by the end of the week I wasn't encouraging the swim fun as much.

These are pictures that will be fun to look at come January when it is 30 below zero and we are stuck inside!

So funny that I used to vacation at that same lake during the summer. I wonder how close we came to being there the same time? I love that song too - I've been addicted to it since I first heard it in my car on XM...and the only version on Playlist is a weird acoustic version that I added anyway, even though it isn't the same...
