1. I added my favorite song these days to the blog. I just love it. That player at the bottom saves me so much money because I don't have to go buy the music ...I can overplay it, like I did in college, and then when I am sick of it move on to something new.
2. Thank you to the commenters on the blog or emails lately. It really is starting to spur me into blogging a little more often again. Get ready! Lots of exciting things coming your way! Little "inconveniences" will bring about big time joy....eventually.
3. Henry is just such a joy these days. And he has a little buddy named Sawyer that he is finally paying attention to when we have play dates. Here they are sharing some pretzels at a BUSY playground. This is summer to a mom of boys. Belly buttons, blond hair, and sun-kissed cheeks.
4. Book recommendations...I need some! Throw some names my way! Please! I have a month to get my hands on a pile of books...because Ed is coming to the cottage for a few days this year....and you know what that means? Mama gets to put her feet up.....NOT! But it is fun to dream!
5. Who can name this drink? Enjoyed by all ages! I remember it most up at the cottage. Why my parents splurged on these with a family of 5, I have no idea? What a treat.

Love Shirley Temples!!!!!!
Steig Larssen (sp?)...awesome series, but he's dead now so there are only three books...well worth the read.
I just read the Secret Life of Bee's and I really liked it. I also just finished Eat Pray Love and didn't like it too much...that probably doesn't help too much
I've read some great books lately. They would be good summer reads.
The Postmistress by Sarah Blake
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen (an oldy, but I had never read it. It was worth it. Her new one comes out this summer too.)
Elizabeth Street by Laurie Fabiano
The Guernsey Literary and Potatoe Peel Society was a fun read too.
Anthing by Adriana Trigiani is good. Her Big Stone Gap series nice summer reading. I also read the enjoyed the Percy Jackson and The Lightening Theif series by Rick Riordan, even though they are aimed at 12 year olds. :)
April, I also did not like Eat, Pray, Love. I've tried to get into the The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, but is assured that I need to keep reading. It's off to a slow start, however.
Hope you can find something you like in all that!
Kristin
Yum! A Shirley Temple!
I just read Handle with Care by Jodi Picoult. That was good.
I have Molly's copy of the Potato Peel Society that was recommended above.
Thanks for the recommendation on Sarah's Key. Am more than half way done already (fast for me)!
