We don't do donuts very often in our house...but recently we read the book Arnie, the doughnut, by Laurie Keller, and the boys loved it. I LOVE this book because there is a ton of humor for adults.
After reading it I had this vision of taking the boys for a donut - not at Target...but at a REAL bakery. There is only one that I know of nearby here...and their selection by mid-morning was a bit picked over...but there was enough selection for my boys. All they wanted was sprinkles...just like Arnie. They each picked a donut and that was their lunch.
I recommend the book - I recommend letting your kiddos indulge in a donut for lunch - and I recommend doing it in a cute bakery where other customers walk past and say, "awwwwwwwwwww..."

There is just something about little kids and frosted donuts with sprinkles!!! Such cute shots!!! Reminds me that I have not taken my daughter for a donuts in a while.

Mercy! Everything here is perfection. The boys posing, the pretty donuts, and the layout are all fabulous. I just want to go out & do this! Unfortunately, I have to finish nursing bebe then make supper. Great work.
