'Not Me' Monday

I did not finally eat one of 'those' cupcakes...for breakfast on Saturday morning!

This weekend I DID NOT spend almost the entire day cleaning up our bedroom.  Because that would mean we use it as our catch room...you know the room that catches all the piles of crap that you have to hide when people come over.  If I had the goal of giving it a little makeover that would mean we already don't treat it as a room of relaxation.  Our bedroom of course promotes sleep.

After I got it all cleaned up my husband encouraged me to go to TJ Max and look for some things to "decorate" it with.  I found a wall hanging, a pot with some fake flowers, some new bath towels, and a set of sheets.  The gal that checked me out took a long time to scan the towels and they scanned wrong....to make a long story short - too much thinking time means I walked out with ONLY the set of sheets.  Nope, I didn't chicken out and tell the cashier that I changed my mind on 2 enormous wall hangings, four bath towels, and a pot of flowers.  Nope, I wasn't that annoying customer.

I didn't leave the deep freezer door open for 3 days down in the basement because I was hurrying and had my hands full....nope, not me. (by the way everything was still frozen - thank goodness!)

I did NOT let my 2 year old wear his silly Lightening McQueen pjs to Target one day - because he loves them so much.  Nope, not me!

What's wrong with starting the day off with a lil' chocolate? :)

Cupcakes are made with eggs and flour, those are healthy right? I DID NOT indulge in a cupcake this weekend either!

Cupcakes make the best breakfast!!! Thank goodness all your food was still frozen. Sounds like something I would do!

Chocolate cupcake for breakfast sounds SUPER yummy to me! I'm glad all of your stuff was still frozen...I'm sure it would have been a stinky and expensive mess if the stuff would have thawed out!

Pretty sure that I've gone to WalMart in MY pjs before. And they aren't as cute as Lightening McQueen ones, for sure!

First of all, that cupcake looks delish.
Second of all, my bedroom is SO the catch room. I swear it isn't even relaxing to go in there! It's gotta be the most depressing room in the house!

I am beyond impressed that you waited until Saturday morning to indulge! And I do the exact same thing when given too much time to stand in line! I am getting better about not making my bedroom a dumping ground, but it is going to take a serious overhaul to make it more relaxing and welcoming.

Good for you for walking out of the store without stuff you didn't need! I'm impressed, that must have taken a TON of willpower!

Oh, and I did NOT have a pink lemonade cake square for breakfast (at work!) today. Not me.

Thanks for RSVPing to my blog birthday bash-- it's going to be AWESOME!

That cupcake looks awesome!

I let my boys go out in pjs, too. It's easier sometimes.

Wow...you have way more self-control than I do, and that's why I try to only get cute jammies for Roo - for when she wears them out.

I think this is the reason to go to TJ Maxx with a friend, that way you can discuss it and have that friend tell you - yes you need it:)

Oh and I am never caught eating sweets for breakfast. Especially if I am woken up before the sun is up.
