Friday thoughts...

I won these towels on a giveaway last week.  They arrived today.  I got to pick what sayings I wanted.  You can find them at Words to Sweat By.  I think the giveaway was for two towels, thinking the winner would keep one and give one to a workout pal.  I have two gals that listen to me make goals, moan about getting started, brag about little workouts I fit in, and then grumble when I lose steam and get out of the routine.  They are always encouraging and helpful.  I have many friends that are...but these two stick out in my mind.  So Jesse and Lynelle - you will be getting a little package in the next few days from me.  I appreciate your friendship.  You'll have to wait and find out which one I picked for each of you!

My washer and dryer have made me one happy laundry doing mama!  I did my first load this week and when I opened the dryer door I was greeted with the scent of detergent!  My clothes actually smelled like fresh laundry.  I didn't realize what I have been missing these last 3 1/2 years.  I had the urge to roll around in the pile of clean laundry.

I won another giveaway last week for a year on TypePad.  This would require me to move my blog off of Blogspot/blogger.  It was a big win...it came with a book TypePad for Dummies and everything!  I was kind of excited because I have thought of moving off of blogger....but, I also am scared.  I don't know too many who use TypePad...I wonder about paying for something that I can do for free elsewhere....Any bloggers out there who have switched from Blogger...any advice?  For now I think I am going to stick with Blogger.  I don't get why I would leave.  Please share if you have an opinion.

This weekend I am getting together with two close girlfriends.  We are meeting to touch base on goals we set three months ago. I am excited to have a night out of the house, with girlfriends, involving wine and girl chats.

I think I have figured out how to make my homemade pizzas so that I now prefer them over store bought or restaurant.  So exciting to feel confident.

The boys have gotten lots of visits with grandmas and grandpas lately.  Ed's mom and dad popped in for the day and night after their 10 day vacation in Hawaii.  We sure enjoyed a good 6 day trip visiting my parents.  While there we went and toured the Jelly Belly Factory.  Always fun!

It has been a week out of our normal routine.  Filled with fun.  Henry and I have been a little under the weather but we are on the mend.

Wonderful Weekending!

More Friday Fragments and Friday Night Leftovers can be enjoyed all over the blogging world.

Ohhhh... the jelly bean factory, I be that was F.U.N.

I haven't heard too many great things about Typepad. If I'm not mistaken, they cap the number of photos you can upload (but I may be wrong). I love Blogger, but probably because I feel like I've finally figured it out.

How nice to win. I love the sayings on them.

I hear good and bad things about leaving Blogger. I'm staying put here.

The Jelly Belly factory sounds cool. My grandchildren would enjoy that.

Ooooh! I want to visit the Jelly Belly factory! Remember throwing jelly beans down the hall in Oak Ridge? Sarah...that was about 15 years ago. Seriously. Seriously.

Yikes - I am way behind! YEAH for a great homemade pizza - I think my next challenge may be to make one with a white sauce instead of red.

And those towels are awesome! What a great way to get a giggle in along with your workout!
