Sometimes it's chaos, with a heap of kids but mostly it is time to connect with all of us!!! I grew up in a home where we never ever ate together and it is intentional that my kids know no other way - seriously the family that plays together stays together.se7enhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15432167351999892522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2340082987538484299.post-66185561261521608552010-03-23T21:11:47.689-05:002010-03-23T21:11:47.689-05:00We always eat together as a family, unless Andy is...We always eat together as a family, unless Andy is working late. But even then, me and the kids still sit down together. It is important. I don't know why more people don't do it.

I too grew up with family meals. I always knew when dinner was...it was when the church bells chimed in our neighborhood at 6pm. I can still hear those bells.Heather (One Take On Life)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15067509762596628456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2340082987538484299.post-86017687929571451682010-03-23T20:06:34.688-05:002010-03-23T20:06:34.688-05:00That is some great advice. It's frustrating...but at least I know he'll pretty much always eat what I make him.Kmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05008496338777404036noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2340082987538484299.post-84208801174836357772010-03-23T18:20:18.552-05:002010-03-23T18:20:18.552-05:00EXACT same story here! They have to take a bite (how many bites depends on their age)of everything on their plate. I will also make them something else if me & Justin are eating something that is too spicy for them, but that's the only time!

Just recently Justin started eating dinner at the table w/ me & the boys and now dinner time is my favorite time of day!Hattiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03511989028203261108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2340082987538484299.post-43612070032259821752010-03-23T16:34:05.686-05:002010-03-23T16:34:05.686-05:00I agree! I wish we hadn't and I'm not sure how to reverse the trend now! Especially when the table is covered with laundry! :)Beth Zimmermanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07047047792782914757noreply@blogger.com
